Short Sighted Cinema Presents: TRANSFORM

After a sell-out event last year, Short Sighted Cinema bring ‘Transform’ back to the big screen, with selection of short documentaries and autobiographies that lead into metamorphic journeys of discovery and transformation. Secrets are shared and identities challenged in this evening of short film and live storytelling, followed by open-mic revelations.

PRICK – Vile Films: Jake Narang of Vile Films meet with fine artist and tattooist to the stars Henry Hate. Starting out life in Orange County, LA under religious family values, Hate’s homosexuality clashed decisively with his upbringing and after leaving the army he sought refuge in Queercore: a vibrant and unabashed gay punk scene. Now Hate runs Prick Tattoo in London, achieving notoriety through his tattoos with high profile clients including the late Amy Winehouse and Alexander McQueen.

EPICLY PALESTINE’D: A short documentary about the birth of skateboarding in the West Bank.
