Trailer For Swedish Horror PSALM 21

No comments:
source 24FPS
Swedish movie of lately have been big hits outside there native lands with the Millenimum Trilogy starring Noomi Rapace been te most notebale and like after any sucessfull movie you look to that countryfor a possible next hit.
Psalm 21 I wouldn't say will be a massive hit outside Sweden but its one of those movies which will give any sane adult a few brown trouser moments! The horror movie did the rounds of 2009 festivals to some positive reviews and November 5th its gets its cinematic release in Sweden.
This is a real creepy chiller flick which you know will have many satanic twisted moments when your lead actor is playing a priest, plenty of questions of faith thrown in as well. Its one of those movies you know you want to check it out but dont know why!

UK Trailer For THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNETS NEST

No comments:
This should have been posted last week but I never received it via email but thanks to TrailerAddict here’s the UK Trailer for THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNETS NEST the concluding movie of the exciting Millenium Trilogy created by the Late Swedish Author Steig Larrson.

I hold my hands up Ive never seen The Girl Who Played With Fire, I tried in February at Glasgow Film Festival but I was unsucessfull in getting tickets, same goes with several other movies as well so recently my introduction to the movies started with movie 2. It may have not have been the best movie to start with as its a slow burner but it was still intense and exciting and like many movie trilogies its simply setting the movie up for its big finale.I do hope to check the 1st movie out before next month when the final movie arrives on November 26th.

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest was directed by Daniel Afredson and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Nyqvist, Lena Endre, Sofia Ledarp, Jacob Ericksson, Georgi Staykov and Annika Hallin.

The movie is an nostalgic look at one of Sweden's Criminal scandals and Hannes Holm movie could be the next movie from Sweden to make the waves internationally.
Behind The Blue Skies will hit the Swedish cinemas from October 15th, trailer after the break...

Noomi Rapace in Family Drama Svinalängorna (Beyond)

This weekend saw the UK/Irish release of The Girl Who Played With Fire was released and ever since the movies which all 3 have been made (The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest out in UK November 26th) Noomi Rapace has become one of the most wanted actress for her protryal of Lisbeth Salander. Its expected Rapace will soon take the step into Hollywood but before then there's still the matter of a movie on the homefront with Svinalängorna (Beyond).
The movie is set in the 1970's about a young womans experiences growning up in a household riddled with abuse and alcoholism, Rapace plays Leena who is now settled with her own family with her christmas shattered by the news of her mother is dying which rolls back the dark memories and first time visit to her mom in her adult life.
There's a great cast of Swedish actors (including Tehila Blad who plays a young Leena, she also played a young Lisbeth as well)  and despite the over dramatic trailer this is actually a very powerful drama which shows why Noomi Rapace is in demand by hollywood. The only shock is none of the big festivals have picked this up especially whose in it but Im sure it will be picked up some festival, however the movie is due to be released in Sweden on November 12th, trailer after the break...

Here's one for the True Blood Fans, here is Eric Northman or better known as Alexander Skarsgard and maybe you haven't seen his native Swedish side, a side of him you may haven't thought of. The clue is in the picture above, he's in a kimono either he plays someone with a slight feminite side but more likely to be sexually (over)active!
TRUST ME (aka Puss) is a movie directed by Johan Kling which can be described as a comical intake of sex, drugs, alcoholism, misdemeanors, acne, voyuerism, cleptomania and pregancy, mmm sounds like life, full stop!
Like the source I haven't a clue what there on about but the kimono is a clue to some comedy. Alexander does have family in this movie in the form of his other brother Gustaf and I think we can say down to been in one of America's most popular tv dramas im sure we'll see the movie in subtitle sometime!

International Trailer For THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE

Back at the start of March I posted the Trailer for The Girl Who Played With Fire (Flickan som lekte med elden) the follow up to The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo and now the movie has a UK realease date below is the international trailer for the same movie.
The movie has been pencilled in for a August 27th UK/Irish cinematical release with Noomi Rapace (Salander) and Mikael Nyqvist (Michael Bloomkvist) reprising there roles once more. I havent seen the first movie but I beleive there could be the minor things could spoil this one, but nothing big though.
The second movie sees Slanader & Blomkvist return back to the Millenium to expose a suspected sex trafficking ring and with 2 reasearchers murdered Salander is framed becoming the Polices cheif suspect. Not convinced Bloomkvist searches for the fleeing Salander to get the truth but on that quest Salander unveils a few of her own dark secrets.
Once again Im unsure reading the 3 books of this trilogy before checking out the movies so I can have a opened mind when I do see the movies.,I’ve did it with The Road and I have more admiration for the movie now. What I’ve read about this movie it is a very solid strong film possibly not as good as movie one but good enought to check out. The first movie is going to get the hollywood remake treatment with Se7en henchmen David Fincher directing, so Im sure this movie will follow suit as with the last movie The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest which came out this year in its native Sweden.
