Timur Bekmambetov is better known for his fantastic Nightwatch & Daywatch movies which are both excellent sci-fi movies with originality but he's probably by some known more for his debut hollywood movie WANTED which left you with the WTF feeling. His new movie Black Lightning just looks ace.Russia the last few years has got a craving for the comic book genre movies and expect this one to be full of comicbook style antics and frolics.
Synopsis:
This is a story of Moscow University's student who becomes the owner of ordinary from the first sight, been-used, but... able to fly "Volga" car. I hope this movie does come to the UK as the trailer shows that there's alot of great stuff/cgi effects seen in Nightwatch/Daywatch movies. This movie will hit Russian cinemas on 31st December 2009.
