What I love about having a movie blog is the diversity of movies you see worldwide, some with titles or genre you may find unusal until you actually watch the movie. Japan has probably the most diversed movie market in the world and virtually everything that can be made into a movie is made into a movie.
Tomoyuki Takimoto‘s Soup Opera is a comedy starring Maki Sakai, Mariko Kaga, Takahiro Nishijima, and Tatsuya Fuji which is based on a novel of the same name by Sawako Agawa. .
The movie is about Rui (sakai) a single 35 year old woman who is forced to live alone after her aunt decides to move and get remarried. Through certain circumstances Rui ends up with new roommates Tony (Fuji) and aeging ladies man and Kosiuke (Nishijima) and this is when the real fun begins!
Movie is due out in Japan on October 2nd released by Prénom-H
