Frits en Freddy is directed by Guy Goossens in what I would describe as The Farrelly Brothers trying to do a black comedy ala Coen Brothers style. Surreal, slapstick, oddballs. I can picture Fargoesque moments in this one, these Belgium love there waffles, diamonds and chips with Mayonaise but when it comes to movies they are malackas! You might think "WTF?!", maybe but they do love it as its top of the Belgium movie charts!!!!
