Watch The Trailer For Arthouse Horror Where the Dogs Divide Her

A wise person said to me once "Paul... its good to be different sometimes, because if you do the same thing all the time things get stagent and boring and people will walk away or ignore you" and hes right! So that little saying came into effect when I received a email about this movie.....

"WHERE THE DOGS DIVIDE HER" is the debut feature from Martin Rutley (written by brother  Andrew) who make up Hunger Cult Films. The movie has been been picked up by R Sqaured Films for distribution with the movie to be released sometime this year.I said at the begining its good to be different and Where The Dogs Divide Her is different its an Arthouse horror movie nostalgia, loss of identity, and the ongoing psychological-war between desire and reason. I really like this as it shows that independant filmmaking may not have the budget but they dont have the constraints of a blockbuster hence more freedom to be more creative as well as edgy. The brothers first started creating short films that usually lasted around 15 minutes but Where The Dogs Divide Her was conceived from the idea for a novel in 2009 but the story was so strong the brothers decided visually a movie would be the better option.
All Ill say guys this is different it is a slasher movie but dont expect a straight up slasher flicker with a Michael Myers type character running around killing people, but what you'll get is an ambitous horror movie thats not really as  obvious, so  think David Lynch doing a Lars Von Trier on the slasher genre different but still very brutal the way a slasher fan likes it!

Where the Dogs Divide Her begins amid the aftermath of a family massacre. A nameless man sits in an unfamiliar bathroom, his bloodied hands trembling as he ponders his crime of passion. An amnesiac without an identity, he goes in search of himself, only to unearth a long-buried family secret surrounding the bizarre deaths of his parents. An abstract ghost story populated by ever-threatening specters, shadowy souls with evil motives who inhabit a nightmare world within a troubled killer's psyche. They might offer a smile or a kind word, but their only purpose is to snare others into their Hell. Before the killer can come to terms with his deeds and escape this esoteric prison, he must confront his dead parents and make good on an infant's promise made thirty years ago.
