GFF 2011: Watch The Offical First Trailer For Richard Ayoade’s SUBMARINE

A few days ago we told you about Richard Ayoade’s antcipated feature debut SUBMARINE will post its offical trailer via its Offical Facebook Page . The page had to get 3000 people liking the page and thanks to you guys Optimum Releasing and Think Jam have launched the trailer today!
Submarine is a vark edged coming of age story which The Telegraph news called the movie:
“the most refreshing, urgent and original debut the British Industry has seen in years.”
Some American sites/critics have even called the movie” The Arthouse Scott Pilgrim minus the Video Game culture”. The movie has debuted at Several Film Festival’s including London Film festival leaving the festival with fantastic reviews and next week 18th February the movie will make its Scottish premiere at Glasgow Film Festival at GFT where Richard Ayoade , Craig Roberts and Yasmin Page will be in attendence, more details go to the festivals WEBSITE.
The first feature from comic genius Richard ‘The IT Crowd’ Ayoade is one of the most entertaining and refreshing British debuts of the year. Ayoade captures the growing pains of a neurotic adolescent with verve, cinematic sleight of hand and some splendid comic performances. He retains the literary flavour of Joe Dunthorne’s novel as we enter the mind of cowardly, misunderstood misfit teenager Oliver Tate (Craig Roberts) who views the world through the delusional eyes of a latterday Billy Liar. The heart of the film is his burgeoning relationship with Jordana (Yasmin Paige), an aggressively unromantic pyromaniac, and his heroic efforts to save the floundering marriage of his parents.GFF2011
SUBMARINE will be out in UK & Ireland MARCH 18TH.
