Apart from the usual perversions of a Japanese geek boy (schoolgirls is scantly short skirts) the next big love is meccha and it was meccha that got me into Japanese manga comics. I totally adore the old retro comics and animes from the 1970's /1980's like Mazinger Z but there's alot we never got a chance to watch in the west some where live action ultraman style like this one Karate-Robo Zaborgar shown during 1974-75 and now will be returning to the big screen!
The new movie got a premiere showing at the recent Rotterdam Film Festival and do expect it to do the run at various world film festivals, anything robotic, japanese and based on Manga/anime gets alot of love from us here at Cinehouse!
