JACK FALLS DVD UK News

To help a nation's movie industry flourish you always have to support the filmmakers at all levels from grass roots especially but also those movies made independently. Some people forget there's life outside Hollywood and forget to suppport the indie film industry to but here at Cinehouse and The Peoples Movies we support British and Irish Film, even if we may not like the movies we will always support them and one movie we are supporting is JACK FALLS.

Putting a stylish spin on British gangster movies, JACK FALLS is the final instalment of the gripping ‘JACK‘  trilogy, based on the popular graphic novels. JACK FALLS DVD & Blu-ray plus the DVD Trilogy boxset are available to own from the 21st March 2011. Shot in a "Sin City" style with high contrast black and white with splashes of colour, the film goes back to the roots of the original graphic novel in this gripping film noir thriller.

Surviving a murder attempt in Amsterdam, former police-officer Jack Adleth (Simon Phillips) heads to London to seek revenge and settle old scores, but soon finds himself in danger not just from his former criminal associates, but his old police colleagues too. As he battles to stay alive, he must also deal with the guilt from the consequences of his undercover life.

Lionsgate are pushing the film out nationally with a huge DVD and Blu-ray release that will include TV spots, radio and print advertising, interviews in much of the national media with the films stars and writer/director (who also wrote the graphic novels) and promotions in print and online. They are also releasing a box set trilogy comprised of Jack Falls and the earlier films Jack Says and Jack Said, starring Mike Reid, Eric Cantona and Danny Dyer.

The film stars an ensembles of great talent including Tamer Hassan (Clash of The Titans The Business), Simon Phillips (Jack Said, The Last Seven), Olivia Hallinan (Lark Rise to Candleford, Sugar Rush), Dexter Fletcher (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Kick Ass), Jason Flemying (Lock Stock, Stardust), Alan Ford (Snatch, Lock Stock), Adam Deacon (Adulthood, Kidulthood), Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Neil Maskell (The Football Factory), Zach Galligan (Gremlins) and Martin Kemp (The Krays).
