There comes a time when an actor has to step out there safety zone and try something a little different from there norm and alot of the times the particular actor seems to do it with sucess. One of those actors it seems to have taken that step is Will Ferrell who has taken a more dramatic role in EVERYTHING MUST GO and Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate via
Apple
have released the movies trailer.

Will Ferrell plays an alcoholic man man whose just lost his job comes back home finds all his possession lying scattered over his front lawn and his wife has left him and so for a week he sets up house in the front garden and confronts his problems. The movie premiered back at Toronto Filmfest received some promising reviews but no trailer appeared just a few images and very positive feedback on Ferrell performance which wasnt Oscar worthy but an honest genuine low key performance proving he can have some life outside his chaotic comedy norm.

There’s no British or Irish rlease date yet annouced but for North American movie fans they can catch the movie next month on May 13th. Everything Must go stars also Rebecca Hall, Stephen Root, Laura Dern, Michael Peña, Glenn Howerton, Shannon Whirry, Jason Spisak. The film is directed by Dan Rush.

Adapted and directed by Dan Rush, and based on a short story by Raymond Carver, EVERYTHING MUST GO tells the story of NICK PORTER (WILL FERRELL) a career salesman whose days of being on top are long gone. The same day Nick gets fired, for falling off the wagon one last time, he returns home to discover his wife has left him, changed the locks on their suburban home and dumped all his possessions out on the front yard. Faced with his life imploding, Nick puts it all on the line – or more properly, on the lawn – reluctantly holding a yard sale that becomes a unique strategy for survival.
