CANNES 2011: 3 New Clips From Lynne Ramsay’s ‘We Need To Talk About Kevin’

Today the Cannes Film Festival Kicks off and still the trailers, clips for the anticipated movies still keep coming in (and will do during the festival). One of the Festivals highly anticipated movies is Lynne Ramsey's WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN, which stars Tilda Swinton, John C Reilly,  Ezra Miller,telling the story of a mother and father (Swinton, Reilly) whose teenage son is the perpetrator of a high school massacre.Its a chilling heartbreaking tale that will hit a nerve with the viewers but sadly what the boy has portrayed to do in this film still happens worldwide  and in this films we do see the frustration, struggles, depression of a mother as she tries  to cope.

Below are 3 clips found by The Playlist which show Tilda Swinton's character through stages of her child's life and how she slowly breaks down and in the third clips we can see that and how evil there son is too. This is actually Ramsey's first movie in nearly 10 years and on the evidence below she will be a frontrunner for the Palm D'or.

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN is scheduled for a September 2nd release in UK & Ireland.
