Nuri Bilge Ceylan's ONCE UPON A TIME IN ANATOLIA will be Turkey's entry in this weeks 64TH Cannes Film Festival. Turkey's leading arthouse director is back with a bang with a new movie a dark drama which will catch the viewers attention especially when it has Once Upon A Time in.... in the titleas in regards to the epic once upon a time in the west, the movie is a dark drama which doesn't give much away in the trailer nor synopsis. What we do get from the trailer is a memorising beautiful looking trailer that protray's Turkey's landscape perfectly and the trailer does what a trailer should do, just tease.
Life in a small town is akin to journeying in the middle of the steppes: the sense that "something new and different" will spring up behind every hill, but always unerringly similar, tapering, vanishing or lingering monotonous roads...
