There's something about Aussies and water, if you want to go in water during a movie make sure its not Australian as you'll either get drowned in piss poor Sanctum or in this one be terrorised by a shark in a supermarket!!! BAIT 3D is the latest gimmick movie to exploit the mediocre 3d technology (which is still has to prove itself) and comes from Razorback and Original Highlander director (yes Highlander) Russell Mulcahy . Razorback is regarded as one of the early incarnations of Australian exploitation which had a nasty giant pig back bitting off more than he can chew so its no more fitting that the man behind the killer pig will bring us the good old sharks. If you thought Snakes in Planes was a crazy idea well this is Sharks in Supermarkets! Its insane idea but he does have the 2 big names from Aussie cinema helping out in the cast with , Xavier Samuel (Loved Ones, Twilight Saga), Julian McMahon(Nip Tuck), also Jesse Spencer and Sharni Vinson star.

In a sleepy beach community shoppers at an underground supermarket are terrorized by a crazed bandit when the unimaginable occurs: A monstrous freak tsunami swallows the town.
