The offical trailer for Canadian horror flick
CELL 213 has hit the interweb. The flick comes from
Stephen Kay (Boogeyman) and stars
Eric Balfour, Bruce Greenwood and
Michael Rooker (aka Merle Dixon from Walking Dead). Im just curious to know how the filmmaker is now "acclaimed"? Maybe for his work in television sadly not from feature films when you count Boogeyman and that embarrassing Get Carter remake with Sly Stallone, I thought it was customary for a filmmaker to direct several high profile movies before the word acclaimed can be granted? I will give him the benefit of the doubt on

Cell 213 becomes home to Michael Gray a cocky young attorney, after a gruesome twist of circumstance lands him in the South River State Penitentiary, framed for the murder of an incarcerated client. Unnatural forces are causing prisoners to ‘off’ themselves at abnormal rates and Michael soon discovers that matters of guilt and innocence are not as cut and dry as he would like to believe trapped in this nightmarish cell
