When a a relationship goes down the sink you usually have a little cry, moan maybe break up in a big argument before becoming a singleton again, for this movie that moan is a certain no no. In BELLFLOWER best of buddies Woodrow and Aiden take grieving to another level and make flamerthrowers to cause mayhem!!!  The only lady these young guys have their eyes on is Medusa there car as the create havoc creating Madmax style weapons of 'mass destruction'.
I do like the look and feel of this movie, its certainly a indie movie that hasn't lost its 'independance' with parading a big hollywood star in it. Looking for comedy, a little bit of lovey dovey and lashing of good old horror BELLFLOWER is the movie for you, its a movie the American critics are going crazy for and it was a massive hit at Sundance as well as SXSW and on August 5th the movie will get a limited release before going nationwide in USA as for us mere mortals in UK& Ireland no word yet but if your going with the buzz for Stateside it should appear sometime soon.



Bellflower follows two friends as they venture out into the world to begin their adult lives. All their free time is spent building flame-throwers and weapons of mass destruction in hopes that a global apocalypse will occur and clear the runway for their imaginary gang “Mother Medusa”. While waiting for the world to end, their call to excitement comes unexpectedly when one of them meets a charismatic young woman and falls hard in love. Quickly integrated into a new group of friends, they set off on a journey of betrayal, love, hate, infidelity and extreme violence more devastating and fiery than any of their apocalyptic fantasies
