Manga Entertainment UK & Ireland's leading distributor of Japanese Animation has announced they are to release BIRDY: THE MIGHTY DECODE 1. The series will arrive in UK & Ireland on July 11th a series based on an interstellar space agent called birdy who goes to earth to investigate the disappearance of Aliens. The series is directed by Vision of Escaflowne director Kazuki Akane and check out the official Manga UK trailer plus the Funimation trailer which has more footage and covers not just part one but also part 2.
Birdy is an interstellar space agent sent to Earth to investigate the appearance of aliens under the secret identity of a popular Idol. A frantic late night mission causes her to catch an innocent schoolboy in her deadly line of fire. Thanks to a special space technology, Birdy knows a way to restore his life by joining their two bodies into one. Now Tsutomu and Birdy must share the same body, mind and adventures while his broken flesh slowly heals.
