Getting bored of overprice, over the top blockbusters that 75% disappoint? Maybe Errol Morris may have the answer with his Documentary TABLOID which has plenty of Kinky sex, beauty Queens, Mormons Kidnapped at gunpoint, if you think about it sounds like a basic plot for some of those big flicks but its not a little more realistic. TABLOID is a doc which explores one of the British media's crazier stories, a story of true love that blossomed into a farcical obbession for a certain Joyce McKinney giving her 5 minutes of fame back in 1970's. Sensationalising The British media have made an artform, if 2 jumped they will say 250jumped and though I dont know the whole story behind the film the media certainly made major story out of nothing , watching the trailer it does sound a funny but serious story which has a little tragedy.
I'm just surprised no one has made this a feature film yet, it has has everything sex, drama, romance, thriller, comedy! No word yet on when this movie will surface in UK but it will get a stint in American cinemas from July 15th.
