LAN KWAI FONG once an area of street vendors turning into a place for expatriates now living in Hong Kong , a place to for them to drink, dine and party with the locals, it's now a film.
The movie is directed by Wilson Chin, starring Pak-yu Chan, Yung Cheng and Jun Kung in a romantic drama about a couple who have a one night stand but due to a silly misunderstanding a potential relationship falls apart. I was about to post the short teaser for the movie but by accident a English subbed full trailer has appeared online too.

Lan Kwai Fong is the famous night life centre of Hong Kong. Men and women of the city, no matter their nationalities, flock there nightly looking for fun. On one such night, Steven heads to Lan Kwai Fong where he meets flight attendant Jennifer and the two have a one night stand. The sparks are obvious and the two feel it is true love so they make a date to meet on New Year's Eve in Lan Kwai Fong. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding, Steven's attitude toward Jennifer suddenly changes and he chooses not to turn up. Jennifer, disillusioned, also vanishes from Lan Kwai Fong. Eight months later, Steven runs into Jennifer and wants to pick up where they left over. However, Jennifer has moved on and found another man. At the same time, Steven receives more bad news...
Lan Kwai Fong is due for release across Hong Kong on the 8th September, 2011.
