He light up the French Rivera this year at Cannes and on August 26th Pedro Almodovar’s THE SKIN I LIVE IN (La piel que habito) will finally arrive on British and Irish shores.
Too many films produce trailers that give everything away spoiling the visit to your local cinema theatre to watch the movie but there is a few filmmakers who have learned the art of teasing. Give the viewer a little taste of what they can expect but dont give everything away entice them back for more or even better to go an see that movie when it comes out andPedro Almodovar is certainly doing that with THE SKIN I LIVE IN. He is one of the industry’s most celebrated film makers so an fascinating movie is guaranteed and the early indications this movie is a dark twisted tale that shouldn’t be missed when its released on August 26th and for American fans the movie will be released by Sony Picture Classic on October 7th.
