Finally this year Cinehouse & The Peoples Movies will be covering the Film 4 Fightfest in London at the end of this monthwith Dexter doing the honours for both sites and one of this years world premier's will be Susan Jacobsen's THE HOLDING. For year's Horror and at times Thriller's have been dominated by Male filmmakers but Jacobsen has the honour of been the only female director in the competition proving the ladies can produce just as intense movie as her male counterparts. Another thing about this movie it does have several strong female lead roles in the movie which many horror/thrillers lack proving the girls can play hard with the boys too and with the movies topic of family violence this movies needs that strong female presence to work.
The movie will premier at Film4 Frightfest before Lionsgate UK give the movie a very limited cinematic release on 9th September then its direct to DVD on 12th September. The HOLDING stars David Bradley, Vincent Regan,Cassie Naylor, Kierston Wareing and Georgia Groome
