Kyzza Terrazas already made a few noises in the Mexican film scene before his debut feature MACHETE LANGUAGE (El lenguaje de los machetes) even made a mark on the film industry. Terrazas was head of Gael Bernal Garcia's development section of Canana production company, he also wrote the actors recent movie Deficit whilst involved producing Mex and Voy A Explotar to hit Mexican dramas. But now its time to work on something for himself a Machete Language stars Jessy Bulbo (Mexican punk icon) and artist/actress Andreas Almedia a pair of near 30 somethings who are counter culture activist finding themselves caught between the thin line youth and adulthood.

The movie is due to make its premier at Venice Film Festival which has already kicked off and the goold folks at Twitch have gotten there hands on this nifty extended trailer (in English subs) showcasing the movies fantastic gritty story.

Ray and Ramona are a young couple. They hate injustice of the social context they are part of. Each from their own niche - Ramona as a musician, Ray as an activist - try to fight for a more just world. Devoted to self-sabotage, Ray fails in his rebellion and drags Ramona into a downward spiral that culminates in an act of poetic terrorism.
