Adam Torrel at Third Window Films certainly knows how to find the best but not always 'mainstream' films from the world of Asian Cinema and he's done it again with this crazy surreal Japanese flick UNDERWATER LOVE. The movie is from the renowned pink-film veteran Shinji Imaoka (Lunch Box) and is a whimsical pink film musical about a woman and a sea creature.
Its crazy, surreal, probably a total mindf$*k of a film but it just looks one of those films you'll just love, a cult classic in the making here which will be heading to UK&Ireland on November 21st on DVD.
Underwater Love – A Pink Musical was shot in 5 ½ days, one take only.
However on October 16th the movie will make its UK premiere at a DVD launch party with live performance from German/French synth-pop duo 'Stereo Total' who provided the score for the original Japanese release. The premier will take place at Richmix in London's East End and you can purchase your ticket's HERE (which includes the bands mini pre film performance, the film and full show after film )
