Its been a while since we’ve had a interview at The Peoples Movies and we’re going to restart the ball rolling again with Nicholas Winding Refn the director of the fantastic Drive starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Ron Perlman, Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks, and Christina Hendricks. This stylish noir esque thriller a tale of Driver who is part time Hollywood stunt driver by day getaway driver for hire at night who finds himself a target of Los Angeles biggest criminals after a botched job looks after a wife and child of a criminal inside finding himself doing what he does best drive! Sleeks, stylish, sexy just a few words to describe this movie and it’s so refreshing to actually get a movie that lives up to its reputation and the good folks at Collider met up with the Danish Director to find out why Drive is such a cool film. In the interview we actually find out the director doesn’t actually drive himself, the usage of certain camera angles foreign cars and Steve McQueens Bullit as one of the movies inspirations.
