LFF 2011: Intense New Clip For Oscar Contender MISS BALA


If you thought Miss world pageants are for young woman who think they can save the world by wearing glamorous dresses parading up and down a stage to be judged was exciting career prospect think again. MISS BALA a story of a young aspiring beauty queen who finds her dream destroyed as shes forced to help a criminal gang in lawless Mexico. Miss Bala is directed by talent Gerado Naranjo was supported by his famous producers Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna helped him to create an epic thriller which is now in contention for Best Foreign Film at the next Oscar ceremony .

Check out this new intense clip sent to us by Metrodome which shows the tone of threat our young beauty queen is put under to 'help' the criminal gang. The film is due out in UK & Ireland from October 28th but before then you can catch the film at the London Film Festival which is playing now, Miss Bala stars Stephanie Sigman, Irene Azuela and Miguel Couturier.


Miss Bala is a story of Laura, a young aspiring beauty queen who finds her dream turned against her when she unwillingly gets involved with a criminal group at war in today's lawless Mexico.
