Read The Riot Act, Its The Official Trailer For Roman Polanski's CARNAGE

2011 seems to be the year established film maker's decide to venture into genre's there not renowned for.We have Martin Scorsese with his first family as well as 3D fantasy Hugo and now we have Roman Polanski with CARNAGE venturing into comedy. Based on the Yasmina Reza novel God Of Carnage set in real time (typed minus the Keifer Sutherland 24 voiceover) ,a black comedy which stars 3 Oscar winners and one it should be too Christoph Waltz, Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster and John C Reilly.

It's really hard for some people to capture the essence of a film set in one room but as the the film's title says 'Carnage' we may get some really crazy to happen, well there altogether to solve a school yard fight involving their children so you would expect the adults to be ...adults? wrong! Carnage is certainly a slow building film, its quirky, dysfunctional, and very funny!

No word on the UK&Irish release date just yet but American cinephiles can catch this one when its released Stateside on December 16th.

A showdown between two kids: about eleven, in a local playground. Swollen lips, broken teeth… Now the parents of the “victim” have invited the parents of the “bully” to their apartment to sort if out. Cordial banter gradually develops a razor-sharp edge as all four parents reveal their laughable contradictions and grotesque prejudices. None of them will escape the ensuing carnage.
