Roman Polanski last year may have not been flavour of the month when it came to situations that has happened in his private life but 2012 rebuild his reputation and will see the troubled film maker delve into comedy with CARNAGE. To describe the film you could say dry dialogue driven comedy that's made Woody Allen the film maker he is known for today, throw in some chaotic black humour 3 Oscar winning stars and Mr Independent film (probably even more than Steve Buscemi) we have an intriguing film on our hands.
Carnage stars Christoph Waltz, Kate Winslet, John C Reilly, Jodie Foster who play parents of 11 year kids whose kids involved in schoolyard bulling one the victim the other alledged bully come together to try solve the problem a problem which erupts into 'carnage'. This film is set in one room/location which we last saw in Ray Winstone's 44 inch Chest so the dialogue is the key here but will this be a damp squib or fantastic bundle of laughs from a fantastic cast? Find out on February 3rd 2012.

A showdown between two kids about eleven, in a local playground. Swollen lips, broken teeth... Now the parents of the “victim” have invited the parents of the “bully” to their apartment to sort it out. Cordial banter gradually develops a razor-sharp edge as all four parents reveal their laughable contradictions and grotesque prejudices. None of them will escape the ensuing carnage.
