Asia as we know is renowned for its fantastic animation especially from Japan. Other parts of the continent are gradually catching up or at least went unnoticed due to Japan's dominance in the market. Any animation or even film fan knows that the origin of a good animation is not important but its quality, so what about Indonesia? Might not be your first choice for Asian animation but Lakonanimasi have CGI animated flick Pada Suatu Ketika.
I'm not sure if this is an short film but it runs at 4 and half minutes though certain parts of Asia compared to UK or Hollywood that running time for a trailer isn't uncommon. This film certainly takes big inpsiration for the big hitters in Hollywood with Transformers with a touch of South Africa's District 9, I even see a little of Spielberg's War Of The World's too.
