It's an sub-genre that's getting overcrowded with mediocre wannabe's but there's one king of them all in the past few years and that's the [REC] franchise. Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza masterpiece hasn't faded in the scare factor first film in a Barcelona block of flats then film 2 brought the same terrifying experience as a team go into the flat to clean up the mess, a little more possession based but now we leave the confines of Barcelona and head out to the country ...for a wedding!! [REC]3:Genesis shows the virus stops for no one as we look into the origins and boy this looks scary stuff too and what better way to find out is checking out the new Spanish Trailer (sorry no subs)!
[REC]3:Genesis has a March 30th 2012 opening in Spain no word yet on the UK distributor but due to the franchises popularity do expect to see this one sometime in 2012!
