SUNDANCE 2012: Trailer For WISH YOU WERE HERE

There was a time certain countries outside Hollywood would produce a fantastic diverse array of films that challenged the big boys like Australia. Those challenges disappear but thankfully reappear keeping the stimulus refreshing and 2010 was the year Aussie cinema made its mark again worldwide with the fantastic Animal Kingdom,Snowtown. Joel Edgerton is not a newbie to acting but Animal Kingdom has introduced him to a bigger audience but if your a regular to Sundance film festival he will be known and next month he is head back to the festival with WISH YOU WHERE HERE.

Wish You Where here has the task of opening up next month's festival a festival that launched Animal Kingdom's David Michod and soon Kieran Darcy-Smith along with Edgerton all part of the Aussie film powerhouse Blue Tongue Films. First Impressions of the film it looks a tranquil mixed with exotica, romance but as they say never judge a book by it's cover the ending proves Wish You Where Here isn't a Mills N Boon drama, very dark mysterious ending.

No word on a UK or Irish release but the film makes its festival debut on January 19th, a film that also stars Teresa Palmer, Felicity Price and Antony Starr. The films trailer is below!
