Trailer For Korean Crime Noir TOO MANY VILLAINS

My admiration of Asian cinema went up tenfold during 2010 especially for Korean cinema when it comes to thrillers.Gritty, hard edged remorseful even at times dark edged storylines, Kim Harry's TOO MAY VILLAINS has certainly left me to see more of this one. Harry's new film has a touching edge to it as a retired gangster trying to regain the custody of his daughter, giving the film a more human touch to it though anyone looking for action Too Many Villains has some spot on fighting scenes too. Below is a new trailer for the film which actually is about to be released in Korea from 8th December.

Kang-pil is a former gangster who now runs a private detective agency and needs money to hire a lawyer for the rights to have custody of his daughter. A woman called Lee Moon-hee brings a huge amount in check and asks him to follow a man named Park Yong-dae. However, at the same time, Park Yong-dae goes missing and the woman is unreachable and Kang-pil doesn’t know what to do. He soon realizes that he’s stuck in the middle of a huge crime related to gold bars that belonged to the Japanese in the past.
