Today see’s Steven Soderbergh’s thrilling new action film Haywire hit screens all over the UK. To celebrate, Momentum Pictures have sent us two brand new and exciting clips to feast your eye's. I watched this last night and Gina Carano takes some beating at times from the boys but the girl take dish out twice as much as the pain and those who feel the pain deserve every part of it!.
In the first clip Coblenz (Michael Douglas) and Rodrigo (Antonio Banderas) discuss a shared problem in ‘Mallory Kane Just Called’, and the first man of many suffers under Mallory’s unforgiving fists in ‘Barcelona Chase’.Haywire is a cheesy fun with cool soundtrack similar in style to Soderbergh's Ocean's 11 film's a throwback to the films of the 1980's and it would have been cool if Chuck Norris was her dad in this! Then again he wouldn't have approved of the swearing!
Mallory Kane (Carano) is a highly trained operative who works for a government security contractor in the dirtiest, most dangerous corners of the world. After successfully freeing a Chinese journalist held hostage, she is double crossed and left for dead by someone close to her in her own agency. Suddenly the target of skilled assassins who knew her every move, Mallory must find the truth in order to stay alive.Haywire is released on January 18th 2012 and stars Gina Carano, Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas and Channing Tatum.
