They say Twins think alike and 99.5% of the time that's true like in this UK indie UNCONDITIONAL. Been billed as darkly comic psycho-romance which stars Harry McEntire, Madeleine Clark as the twins who have that urge but they become under the 'spell' of a local loan shark played by Christian Cooke who offers them the unconditional love for one condition, but will it cost them their lives? This one comes the BAFTA winning duo Bryn Higgins (director) and Joe Fisher (writer) which does have a look of Fish Tank with a heavy dose of social realism ala Mike Leigh, but will this be the start of seeing more Mike Leigh inspired films rather than films from the director after David Cameron's mumblings during the week, his final nail in the coffin in British cinema? Enjoy it well you can ,then send your thank you letters to the British PM, care of 10 Downing Street, London.
This one doesn't have a UK&Irish release date yet but will make its world premier at next week's Slamdance festival in USA (January 20th).

Sixteen year-old twins Kristen and Owen are misfits in the real world, bored of caring for their mum and fantasising about murdering her. Then along comes Liam: 20s, tough, charming, full velocity, genuinely cool. Kristen fancies him with the intensity of someone in a fairytale.Liam takes Owen out drinking – and the depth of Liam's mis-wired obsessions soon emerge. Liam offers unconditional love... on one condition. As the twins fall under his sway, snarled by a dangerous love, will they live to tell the tale?
