Social Media certainly controls our life especially now with mobile phones been so powerful. Ill be honest without social media Cinehouse (&The Peoples Movies) wouldn't survive and today I had a fine example of that power in motion when I volunteered for my local arthouse cinema when i helped out at the free kids saturday flick, we kindly asked if she would turn it off or continue outside the screen. Her reply was nothing but rude even saying to a fellow volunteer to get a life, "My Child is in hospital", no disrespect you don't come to a cinema when a child is ill.
When you look at it we've never had a film looking at the social media's effect on our lives, just how one was created (Social Network)but now in Indonesia that looks its going to change with romantic comedy #Republik Twitter. Apart from a few attempts in horror genre Kuntz Agus film brings romance into the equation and social media does wonders it did for me but also causes heartache and #republiktwitter looks like it will throw in those equations.
