To get us in the mood for next weekend's essential film viewing , our friends at Artificial Eye have sent us over a suggestion with the new UK Trailer, poster of ELLES Starring Juliette Binoche.
Film is directed by Malgorzata Szumowska about a Elle investigative journalist(Binoche) looking into young students turning to prostitution like many 'investigative' films she gets more embroiled into the underworld that comes with the oldest profession in the world. It's ironic now we have a film tackling the issue as several times on UK daytime television there has been young students been interviewed and admitting to been on the game to supplement their income, which is sad, eduction should be a priority however people voted for a right wing government whose only policy is to feed the rich and drain working class.
Anne (Juliette Binoche), a well-off, Paris-based mother of two and investigative journalist for ELLE, is writing an article about student prostitution. Her meetings with two fiercely independent young women, Alicja (Joanna Kulig) and Charlotte (Anaïs Demoustier), are profound and unsettling, moving her to question her most intimate convictions about money, family and sex.
This is certainly a film Juliette Binoche fans will love, plus it's a Artificial Eye film so even with the subject of sex in the film do expect something a little more stylish made. Elles also stars Anaïs Demoustier, Joanna Kulig and Louis-Do de Lencquesaing with the film arrving in UK&Ireland April 20th.
