A Casper Van Dien film in a cinema (especially a UK one) is a rarity these days. After Starship Troopers it seems to be downhill for the actor with 99.9% direct to DVD or Sci-Fi/Movies 24 forgettable efforts. He may not be the main lead in this film but shock horror he looks like he'll have a film coming to UK cinemas June 8th and the UK trailer for THE PACT has arrived.
Following her mother's funeral and the disappearance of her sister and cousin, Annie (Caity Lotz) reluctantly returns to her childhood home — a place that she'd rather forget. The spooky thriller follows Annie as she is forced to unlock the doors to the past and discover the hidden secrets of the house.
The film played at this years Sundance film festival it actually did get a decent feedback from the critics, looks like it takes inspiration Paranormal Activity, even Insidious. Plenty of those jumpy scary moments, not a lot was expected from films like Insidious and look what happened there!
The Pact will be out in UK June 8th and stars Casper van Dien, Agnes Bruckner and Mark Steger.
