Rodrigues Cortes in 2010 brought us the tension filled claustrophobic thriller Buried and next month his Red Lights starring Robert De Niro will arrive in UK cinemas, so would you love to see a Found Footage flick written by the director? Yes? APARTMENT 143 (Emergo) is the latest film to join the overcrowded sub-genre it's a Spanish production but don't moan its all in English and below we have the film's trailer along with a clip that looks like someone dipped a paintbrush in white paint and sprinkled the screen!
The faux documentary plays like Rec or even Paranormal Activity but if it has the same scares as mentioned films is another story as this does look a little generic and probably be one of those direct to DVD films which will pass unnoticed. Hopefully that's just one of those negative responses of seen one seen them all scenario, Rec have set the new benchmark trying to be a little different maybe this one may just surprise us all! Apartment 143 stars Kai Lennox, Michael O'Keefee, Gia Mantegna, Rick Gonzalez, Fionna Glascott, and Francesc Garrido with no UK release date just yet but American fans can watch this now on VOD or wait until June 1st for a limited cinema release.
