After a fairly successful festival circuit run Jim Jarmusch's Twilight counter-acting vampire thriller Only Lovers Left is arriving in UK and today we get our first look at the UK Trailer.
Described as an unconventional love-story by the director, Only Lovers Left Alive will probably surprise fans of Tom Hiddleston's Loki when they see his performance in this trailer. However fans of the British actor since day one know the actors roots firmly in independent and arthouse cinema.
Set against the romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangier, Adam (Hiddleston) an underground musician, deeply depressed by the direction of human activities, reunites with his resilient and enigmatic lover Eve (Tilda Swinton). Their love story has already endured several centuries at least, but their debauched idyll is soon disrupted by her wild and uncontrollable younger sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska). Can these wise but fragile outsiders continue to survive as the modern world collapses around them?
We hope to review this one and anything that has a go at Twilight Saga has our vote which examines the brutalities, successes and failures of humanity and Swinton, Hiddleston are like humanity nowdays. Only Lovers Left is been released by Soda Pictures on 21st February in UK, American release arrives April.
