If you missed out on the (very) limited one-day release of Lars von Trier’s formidable Nymphomaniac duology last weekend, you'll soon be able to catch the whole two-parter on BFI's VOD service, BFI Player, starting March 1st.
The release comes after a particularly memorable marketing campaign, which saw a bevy of online shorts, orgasmic posters, and even unplanned press conference stunts courtesy of #notfamousanymore artiste Shia LaBeouf.
If early reviews are anything to go by, Trier's 4-hour erotic epic may be his most controversial and formally ambitious project to date. Pricing details haven't been disclosed, but with new releases currently renting for £10, I'd expect Nymphomaniac to fetch around that price. Updated: Prices are now £7.50 per film (rental).
The BFI Player is currently available on desktop platforms, Android devices, iPads and iPhones.
