Spanish horror rarely disappoints but recent months it's been quite but now Asmodexia directed by Marc Carreté hope it will catch your soul. With the film in post production ready to be unleashed on festival circuit new international trailer has been created demanding you cast him out!
Asmodexia looks just another straight up demonic possession film but instead of the possessed the focus is on the exorcist and his granddaughter attempt to track those possessed by 'The Evil One'. Whilst many trailers can decorated up to tease with some of those best bits, Asmodexia has some truly visually terrifying imagery which is enough for us to check this one out.
Believe it or not this one already has a international distributor Canadian distributor Raven Banner, the news just relates to North American release however the distributor also works in UK too. If your heading to Film 4 Frightfest in August I would not all be surprise if this film ends up on the programme.

Synopsis
Asmodexia concerns Eloy de Palma, an exorcist pastor roaming the darkest corners of the country with his granddaughter Alba. Their mission is to help those possessed by The Evil One, an infection of the soul that is spreading fast, especially among the most vulnerable members of society: children, mental patients, and drug addicts. There is also a mysterious cult following them, making it more difficult to help those in need. Each exorcism is tougher than the one before, and every battle with Evil reveals a piece of young Alba’s forgotten past – an enigma that if unconcealed could change the world as we know it.source:Joblo
