As It Is In Heaven tells the story of an religious sect who anxiously waiting the 'upcoming Apocalypse' after the death of a prophet. A strange man David arrives to lead the group to their promised apocalypse.The film is an sympathetic look at religious sects/cults in modern day society and the convictions of the groups.
I have no problem in anyone believing in any spiritual or religious been if it brings some solace or inner peace in your life, however when it's used to control your life it's then I have a problem. With the world and us humans been a unique but damaged bunch of people you wonder how those sects and groups that hide behind religion actually work a question many people have asked that about a certain one popular with many A lister Hollywood actors.
No word if As It Is In Heaven will get any form of release here in UK however 11th July the film will get a limited American theatrical release.
