New Trailer For Sofia Coppola's SOMEWHERE

No comments:

In 2004 Sofia Coppola was hot property with her fantastic award winning Lost In Translation, roll on a few years it was a downward spiral with Marie Antoinette which was simply dull & lacklusture. So now 2010 we have SOMEHWERE her new flick with Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning which looks like she’s back on familar territory (also back with American Zoetrope Films the studio who created the movie).
Ok what she did on Lost in Translation she may never exactly copy the same sucess but she can emulate some of that magic she created and watching the trailer does have that indie sense of feeling whilst watching along with a very laidback soundtrack. Nice to see Stephen Dorff as a leading man again he aint a Bill Murray but this movie may just help him get noticed for some better movies in the near future. Is this movie Coppola back her best form or will it be another bites the dust?

Somewhere will be out stateside December 22nd, no UK/Irish release date yet and the movie also has Benico Del Toro & Michelle Monagan making an appearance as well. Check the trailer out after the break....

There's only so many remake's one can get excited about in the era of virtually every new movie is a remake, prequel of an old one 13 ASSASSINS is one we're rather excited about.
The updated version has been directed by Takashi Miike  (audition, ichi the killer)and  has been described as the 'dirty dozen set in the samuri era', well thats enough to get me excited about it! When the movie is already a classic and with quite a few of the most inspirational movies of all time coming from the land of the rising sun, you'll have to tread on thin ice not to be disrespectful to the original but also pay homage but add your touch as well.

A group of assassins come together for a suicide mission to kill an evil lord.

The movie will be out in Japan September 25th and is sure to be a massive hit, so check out the new teaser trailer after the break plus the first full trailer which came out the week before as well...
