I really wanted to see this whilst it was shown at Edinburgh Film Festival but due to my adventures working in Greece and returning home when it was too late has angered me but the movie did only receive 'ok' reviews.
The movie in question is German Black Comedy SNOWMAN'S LAND directed by Tomasz Thomson in a movie style described as Coen Brother's style dark, unrelenting and vicously funny.

You can check the trailer after the break, sorry there's no subtitles but the movie does look good and if you love Coen Brother satire you will relate easy with this movie...

Trailer For Cannes Selected I WISH I KNEW

Zhang Ke Jia is a big favourite with the film festival network and his network continued into this years Cannes festival with the selected movie of I WISH I KNEW.

Now the movie is getting a theatrical release below after the break is the trailer, which does give an overall protrayl of Shnghai, China's largest populated city.

Shanghai, a fast-changing metropolis, a port city where people come and go. 

Shanghai has hosted all kinds of people – revolutionaries, capitalists, politicians, soldiers, artists, and gangsters. Shanghai has also hosted revolutions, assassinations, love stories.

After the Chinese Communists' victory in 1949, thousands of Shanghaiers left for Hong Kong and Taiwan. To leave meant being separated from home for thirty years; to stay meant suffering through the Cultural Revolution and China's other political disasters.

A new full trailer for INCITE MILL(:7 DAY DEATH GAME), a psychological thriller from Hideo Nataka the man who directed the original Ring, Dark Water.

This trailer is actually the first proper trailer as the previous teasertrailer only comprised of Stills with music and the movie is based on a best-selling novel by Honobu Yonezawa with 10 people lured to Anki Mansion by wanted ads advertising Y112,000 (about £100,000 GBP) and all involved are informed they will be filmed 24 hours a day with 2 simple rules:Everyone back in their private rooms by 10pm and the the recording will continue for 7 days or until there's 2 survivors, earning them after 7 days 18 million yen (10 million). Day 2 of the recording one of the partcipants is shot dead.

Nataka however was at Cannes with his English speaking Feature Chatroom (Aaron Johnson, Imogen Poots) but the movie received a very mixed reception but their's high hopes for this movie when Warner Bros Asia release the movie in Japan on October 16th.
