Above is the first teser trailer for GIMCRACK a new indie drama by  Sun-Ho Pak. This movie is the directors feature debut and has been a bit of a risk for him too. Pak is an American Korean after discovering his ethnic culture he decided to go to Korea taught at one of the citys universities for a few years (learning Korean in USA before he went) and now he's taken the step into fim industry.

Japanese tv drama   Youkame no Semi diected by Izuru Narushima has had its first teaser triler for the movie adaptation been released online by Yahoo! Japan. The movie stars Hiromi Nagasaku a woman  called Kiwako who had an affar with an married man and unable to conceive but falls pregent after her affair. After giving birth to a baby girl she runs away with the baby and lives several years in hiding as a mother before getting arrested with the child been taken from her. The movies on several years on ad follows that child Erina played by Mao Inoue now a university student who grows to resent her true parents and herself has an affair resulting in herself getting pregent.
Youkame No Semi will be released in 2011 by Shochiku

Marius Holst's KING OF DEVIL'S ISLAND is worth a mention on cinehouse aparrt from the trailer noe English friendly, its also worth mentioning the cast which includes Stellan Skarsgardand Kristoffer Joner!

The movie willbe released next friday 17th December in norway.

Based on a true story: Norwegian winter, early20th century. On the island Bastoy, located in the Oslo fjord live a group of delinquent, young boys aged 11 to 18. The boys daily, sadistic regime is run by the guards and the principal who bestow both mental and physical abuse on them. Instead of the boys being straightened out with education they end up being used as cheap, manual labor. The boys attempt to survive by adapting to their inhumane conditions. One day a new boy, Erling (17), arrives with his own agenda; how to escape from the island. How far is he willing to go in order to get his freedom? After a tragic incident takes place, Erling ends up forced into the destinies of the other boys by leading them into a violent uprising. Once the boys manage to take over Bastoy 150 government soldiers are sent in to restore order.
