Some J-Horror Goodnes in July From INDIE MOVIES






















The good people at INDIE MOVIES ONLINE Have got a rare treat for you Japanese/Horror fans outthere with a great selection of j-horror movies that will be shown on their website.
There’s a fantastic selection of titles on offer and whats so good about it, you can watch them FREE online plus there’s a New title everyday! There’s a few just been released recently in the U.K, a cult status classic as well as a few which will be new to UK horror fans as well.
IndieMovies Online is a great way to get away from the Hollywood movie world and see some great indie movies which do have a lots of well know actors in them experience something alternative rather than mainstream and the best of all its British, Free and legal.

Ju-On White Ghost (2009) – July 5th

A son brutally and methodically murders all five of his family members after failing the bar exam. He then hangs himself. At the moment of his death, he made a cassette tape recording in which he can be heard saying “I’ll go, I’ll go soon…”. On the same tape can be heard the eerie sound of a young girl’s voice. It is the voice of Mirai, who was a friend of Akane whilst at primary school. Mirai was a victim of the mass family slaughter incident. Akane, who is now a senior high school student, has had a strong ESP power since childhood. Nurse Yuko is left in charge of a young girl called Fukie and begins to experience strange things. Medical examinations reveal that there is a “cyst” in Fukie’s body. The cyst is actually an unborn one that is full of hatred for mankind and curses everyone around her. Yuko’s neighbour is taken by a girl in black, and Fukie’s father commits a murder and goes insane. Fukie’s mother has to rely on the special psychic powers of Fukie’s younger sister to help drive out the evil spirit. Recovering from a failed love affair Shiyori heads to the country, in the company of best friend and bad girl Aiko. Having taken a long soak in the hot spring they retire to their respective cabins. They soon discover that the tranquil village is the home of a cult with a fetish for cutting off female legs. Trying to escape they are split up and keep in touch via their mobile phones. A serial killer is on the loose in the suburbs of Tokyo, one who preys on identical looking young women and identifies his grisly work by removing the left hand of his victim before leaving the mutilated corpse artfully posed in a location where it can be easily found by a member of the public. When two high school kids, Kamiyama and beautiful loner Morino, fatefully meet at the scene of the killer’s latest crime they are drawn together by their mutual morbid fascination with human cruelty and murder and begin a tentative friendship based on their bizarre interests. One afternoon, Morino finds a lost notebook in the cafĂ© where she and Kamiyama have begun to meet. In it are very specific details of all the recent murders. Believing the book to be the killer’s journal, they follow the notes and find themselves at the murder site of one of the unfound victims. Rather than report their discovery and hand over the notes to the police, they agree to keep the journal and track down the corpses for themselves simply to satisfy their own ghoulish curiosity. Morino decides to take things a step further by adopting the appearance of the previous victims in the hope of drawing the killer into the open. Battle Royale (2000) – July 15th

In the beginning of the 21st Century, the economy of Japan is near a total collapse, with high rates of unemployment and students boycotting their classes. The government approves the Battle Royale Act, where one class is randomly selected and the students are sent to an island wearing necklaces with few supplies and one weapon. After three days, they have to kill each other and the survivor wins his or her own life as a prize. The 42 students of a ninth-grade class are selected to participate in the survival game and abducted while traveling in their bus. Day of the Dead (1985) – July 16th

The Dead have conquered earth, leaving just small groups of people out of their clutches. One group made up of both scientific and military personal, hiding in a bunker somewhere in Florida tries to get in contact with other survivors of the zombie infestation, but find themselves quite alone in this new world. Desperately searching for a cure and therefore indulging in strange experiments to overcome this strange transformation into zombies, the scientists loose the faith of the military, resulting in a race against death while the zombies take over the facility..
