"Who Are You Watching?" Dana Adam Shapiro's indie thriller MONOGAMYfrom Oscillope Pictures starring Chris Messina, Rashida Jones and Meital Dohan. The movie set in Brooklyn (shot entirely in Brooklyn) stars Messina as a photographer and the main character talking about their 'strong' relationship but can they really be in a strong solid relationship when the movies called Monogamy? Things start to get weird when he's hired to take surveillance photos when he's asked by a mysterious woman and right away you can see the movie is taking a dark voyeuristic turn. I watched the trailer a few times and you can see elements of One Hour Photoand with the redesque cinematography makes this an interesting movie to check out.
Increasingly anxious about his impending marriage to Nat (Jones) and thoroughly bored with his day job as a wedding photographer, Theo (Messina) establishes a hobby: he's hired by clients to clandestinely snap voyeuristic photos of them as they go about their days. Things go smoothly until a sexy new customer's exhibitionism leads to an all-consuming obsession. As Theo shoots her day and night, the woman's mysterious public trysts send him reeling, forcing him to confront uncomfortable truths about his sex life at home.
No word yet on a UK & Irish release date but for American movie fans it will be released March 11th
