If you were at this years Sundance Festival you may have seen this or heard about the positive buzz around this movie, ANOTHER EARTH .A teaser trailer and a couple of clips have surfaced onine for
Mike Cahill's sci-fi fick which centres around the new discovery of a second earth and the story of Rhoda a student who crashed into a minvan when the second earth appeared kiling the family in it with th exception of the father. Several years after some jailtime she looks for some closure on the whole thing meeting the surviving father who she strike a relationship with. Rhoda is played by up in coming indie movie star Brit Marling who has been casted in Nicholas Jarecki’s Arbitrage opposite Richard Gere and William Mapother (Lost) plays John the grieving father with Jordan Baker, Robin Lord Taylor, and Flint Beverage.
The movie has picked up distribution with Fox Searchlight with the movie getting released late sometime this year possibly Jul 22nd in USA as for the rest of us no word just yet.
