Next Week Max Winkler's indie feature debut CEREMONY will be showing at SXSW Festival in Austin Texas before its American Theatrical release on April 8th. The movies is available on video on demand now and to promote its release Magnolia Pictures have released this new short featurette which has a look at Sam's character played brilliantly by Michael Agnarano . Since the movie made its world premiere at last years Toronto Film fest the movie has had nothing but praise and I do hope the movie does get some sort of cinematic release here in UK.
The movie tells the story of Sam (Michael Angarano) and Marshall (Reece Thompson) who are former best friends who decide to spend a weekend at a beachside location and they gatecrash a wedding party on a estate owned by a famous documentary maker(leePace). As the friends try to start mending there friendship it becomes clear Sam is in love with the filmmakers fiancee (Uma Thurman) and goes out to break up there upcoming wedding.
