Watch The Beautiful Animated Short RAIN TOWN By Hiroyasu Ishida

I had a friend who loved animation but thought Japanese animation was crap as well as perverse, as usual when I asked him for his reasons why it was crap he stalled on telling me. The matter of fact he never really watched much anime and when I explained to him the basic lowdown on anime plus the cartoon he loved as a kid Ulysees 31 was actually anime he was mighty shocked but now he loves anime.
He's a sucker like me for up and coming animators adores the shorts and every so often he would tell me about this new animators he's found so like both of us here at Cinehouse we love to tell you about the upcoming animators out there especially the independant ones. One of those animators we should look out for is Hiroyasu Ishida and below is his beautiful new short RAIN TOWN  which is for his graduation piece, very moody but has sweet soft music and beautiful tonal backgrounds, check it out below.

in this town, since who knows when, rain has never stopped.Residents moved out to suburbs and high ground around - "rain town."  People's memories are now deeply submerged. But into this forgotten rainy town sometimes, someone wanders.
