In March we had a Lawyer working out the back of his vintage Lincon Sedane car in Lincon Lawyer and in Tantei wa Bar ni Iru we have a Private Detective who works from a Red light district bar! Tantei wa Bar ni Iru is based on Naomi Azuma’s novel “Bar ni Kakatte Kita Denwa part of a Detective series Susokino Tantei about Yo a private detective who uses a red light district bar of Sapporo Japan. After receiving a call from a mysterious woman who gets Yo and his faithful reliable sidekick Takeda involved in a dangerous new case. The teaser is quite a smart one and packs in alot in 38 seconds which shows the movie has a bit of action, mystery and of course humour. What we do like about this trailer is when the detective turns to the camera and says to the viewers "If something comes up, call me here"
TANTEI WA BAR NI IRU will be released in Japan on September 10th, check out the trailer below:
