Watch The (Dubbed) Trailer For Miguel Angel Vivas KIDNAPPED(Secuestrados)

If you have been fortunate to have attended a few of the American Film Festivals such as Fantastic Festival over the past 12 months there was one movie that has built such a buzz the level of excitement for it is deafening. Miguel Angel Vivas' Home Invasion thriller  KIDNAPPED (Secuestrados) is that movie and I'm pretty hard to please but the intensity of this movie is unbelievable and many critics are regarding this movie one of the best of its genre.IFC Films have now released a US trailer to promote its upcoming release on VOD June 15th then a limited release cinematically June 17th.

You will notice one thing about the trailer the dubbing is terrible. This trailer is perfect proof for subtitled movies of great foreign flicks but sadly there's too many people in the world to lazy to read them thus hating the film. Apparently IFC Films have now realised the dubbing sounds like one of those old cheesy martial arts or italian flicks form the 1970s-80's and will update the movie with a better trailer, below that trailer I've posted the original Spanish trailer which looks miles better when it comes to dialect.

KIDNAPPED stars Guillermo Barrientos, Dritan Biba, Fernando Cayo, Manuela Velles and at this stage no word on a British or Irish release

Jaime (Fernando Cayo) and Marta (Ana Wagener) are a middle-aged couple with a teenage daughter named Isa (Manuela Velles). The family is in the process of moving into a big new house. Marta wants to gather the family for dinner at home to celebrate. Isa has her own plans; she wants to go out with her boyfriend. Jaime is stuck in the middle of it all. Everyone's evening is ruined when a gang of masked hoodlums pay a visit to the home.
